Wills and Living Trusts

If you own real property, it is highly recommended that you have a living trust in place. By having a living trust as your estate planning tool, you (and your heirs) will avoid the expensive and painfully slow probate court process. The trust will ensure that your wishes will be carried out in an efficient and private manner. Wills, although still valid, are not a recommended method of estate planning for individuals with moderate to significant assets.
